OOC BEHAVIOR
-The Proboards Terms of Service require all account owners be 13 years of age or older.
-No fighting with, intentionally triggering, or being rude to other members.
-Art theft and character theft will NOT be tolerated.
-Board accounts are per-player, with signature links to profiles.
-Please do not air private grievances in the cbox; contact a staff member.
-No extreme violence, rape/sexual violence, domestic violence, pedophilia, homophobia, racism, sexism, ableism, ageism, or any other type of discriminatory or triggering content.
-"Post toppers" or huge graphics that sit above a post are not allowed here. They stretch the page and take up unnecessary room, as well as make pages slower for those with slow internet service. If you want a picture of your character on every post, please put a small one in your sig.
XIAN CANON
-Candidates must be in excellent health to be allowed to Stand. All candidates must be from 12-25 years of age.
-Characters may come to Xian with Silver and below fire lizards (Gold fire-lizards may be attained through Impression, or OOC contests).
-Owners of clutching female dragons must approve mating flights with admin.
-Dragons of young riders (12-17 years of age) and young dragons (under 14 months) will not Rise or Chase.
-Riders of weyrlings under 10 months who engage in sex, drinking, or drug use will permanently damage their dragon's mind and possibly cause it to go between
-Stand-ins for Flights are absolutely allowed! We do not support sexual violence or rape in Mating Flights.
CHARACTERS
-There is no character limit.
-ALL CHARACTERS MUST BE APPROVED BY ADMIN BEFORE ENGAGING IN RP.
-Use the character approval guide!
-Do not add rule-breaking content to characters after approval.
POSTING
-Roleplay on Xian must be written in past tense and third person.
-Dragons speak telepathically. Please make sure to distinguish this somehow in your writing by use of <these>, ~~these~~, italics, or colored writing that reflects your dragon's rank. When riders are speaking to their dragons, the same rule applies.
-Flaming, meta-gaming, power-playing and god-moding are not permitted.
-No placeholders in RP forums, please!
-Large, Weyr-wide plots should be discussed with an admin.
-Please do not hijack threads, especially threads with high numbers of participants.
RESTRICTED CONTENT
-All forum content has a max PG-13 rating
-No sexual assault, domestic violence, rape, or pedophilia (triggering content) is allowed IC on the forum. However, *in character* homophobia, sexism, ect. (discriminatory content) is allowed for the sake of RP.
-No graphic self harm.
BANNING OFFENSES
-Stealing art or characters
-Refusing to add a Trigger Warning or edit inappropriate content
-Harassing, fighting with, intentionally triggering, or otherwise harrying the community at large
-Threatening bodily harm to staff and members, or damage to the forum
-Throwing a public fit over rules, hatching results, or other content
-Behaving in such a way that it requires 3 or more private warnings by staff
