Physical description: Not a very tall young woman, Kelata is only 5'4" and weighs a whooping 105lbs, but packed away behind the small frame, is a woman who will fight for those she is entrusted to protect. Long, curly black hair flows down to the middle of her back while piercing blue orbs can run you through with a single look. She is a fair thing, having been kept away from over exposure to light as a child but recently she's started to tan a little while caring for Izith. Yes, she's not overly built in the muscle department, and yes, she isn't well trained in hand-to-hand combat or any other type of craft, but she can hold her own with a sharp mind and an even sharper tongue . . . at least until Izith can get to her, and then she has him to back her up.
Personality description: Kelata was trained from birth to not show any emotions that would give away her secrets, her interests, or the well being of her people, so that is what she has done for so very long. It is only recently that she has allowed herself to open up just a little bit, mainly because of Izith and her Impression to him. She is very duty and honor bound, wanting to set a good example for her people, though she has left the Hold life behind she now knows that as a Silverrider, even to a male, she must set an example. There is no question that she is beautiful, but beauty will only get you so far if you never allow anyone to see your heart and after the trails she had to go through with her intended husband, Kelata is all for pushing others away in the romance department. Not that Izith minds, he's all to happy to keep His to himself. However, she is very loyal to her friends, no matter their breeding (as her mother would have said) or rank. She will happily sit down with someone of lower rank and break bread with them, just as if she was sitting down with the Weyrwoman, herself. Though she has never been allowed to do it before Impressing Izith, she is finding herself quiet happy doing work in the kitchens and such, though she finds herself not well equipped to washing and sweeping. It's actually quite comical watching her struggle to do such tasks. And in those rare moments, where Kelata will drop her guards, forget she's suppose to be an emotionless Silverrider, she will smile and laugh and dance with those she is close to.
History: Kelata is the daughter of a Lord Holder. At the tender age of three, she was sent to stay at Telgar Hold as the intended fiancee of the first born of the Lord Hold at Telgar. For most of her life, Kelata was told that she was to be the wife of the future Lord Holder, the next Lady Holder.
However, when she was ten, Kelata caught her future husband, who was seventeen at the time, in bed with another male. Of course, she was disgusted and enraged that her future husband would chose another over a male that had no breeding at all, but seeing as she had been groomed from birth to always support her future husband, Kelata accepted the fact that her future husband wanted the company of men over females. It was something that a ten Turn old girl shouldn't have had to accept but thus was the price of being a future Hold Lady. Put the Hold over her own feelings. All she had to do was lead and produce heirs.
For the next four Turns, Kelata stood beside her intended. She was preparing for her wedding night when a young man approached her and informed her that there was another life that awaited her. His Blue had Searched her from the moment the Riders had landed and he could either take her away from the Hold and give her the chance to Stand at the next clutch or she could stay and marry a Hold Lord. Not really one to show her emotions, Kelata actually smiled when she was told she could live her life without having to marry. Within a fortnight, she was on the Sands and a rather large Silver male was standing before her, a brow arched, swirling orbs regarding her heavily.
Weyrling Lessons went well for the pair. Kelata and Izith jumped at the chance to go to the new Weyr when time came.

Dragon's Personality Description: Izith is one of those Silver's that picked his Rider off matching personalities. He knows he will make a good leader and holds himself to a very high standard. A little aloft at times, he comes off harsher than he truly is. Time will change that and mellow him out. When he gets older, he'll have a similar out view as Kelata but right now he's very strict and rigid.
