History: Alea was born at her parents’ medium-sized hold and at a young age was identified as a candidate for HarperHall because of her extraordinarily beautiful voice. She had begun studying instruments with the hold harper when she was very little. Unfortunately, just before she was to leave for the hold, her mother died in childbed and she remained at home to act as Lady Holder and care for her younger siblings, a challenge for a girl just eleven turns. She had to develop extreme patience as well as skills like: organization, cooking, weaving, bargaining and management. Five turns later, she was Searched for Telgar Weyr. Now that he had met a woman to be his new wife, her appreciative father gladly (dare I say hopefully), pushed Alea to pursue her new destiny. With the Telgar candidate barracks overflowing, she was assigned to the new weyr.
