==Please excuse rather lengthy history, this is one of my first characters with a lot of history.==

Physical description: K’ron is of medium height, but tremendously broad shouldered. He is very wellbuilt. His hair is bright silver matching his shining grey eyes. His hair hangs only to his shoulders and he keeps it bound in a leather binding whenever he needs it out of his way. When he smiles, which is not often lately, it is a charming, heart-breaking smile.
Personality description: K’ron is a typical hero-type. He is very protective of anyone he believes is in his charge and his weakness is that if anything goes wrong, he believes it is his fault. He has a good sense of humor and loves children and animals. He is also musical. He plays the harp, although most of the music he plays lately is dark.
History: Karon is the eldest son of a holder who produced wood for furniture. His hold was of enough note that Karon was fostered to a beasthold as his father wished to expand his home hold’s production to beasts. Karon became an expert at raising and caring for beasts. He also met and inexplicably fell in love with Ala, the selfish, overly officious daughter of the holder. On the day before his marriage ceremony he was Searched by Benden Weyr which was sorely in need of riders at the time, therefore he was given no choice in whether to go to the weyr or not. At Benden he Impressed Nymanth, a bronze and became K’ron. During his weyrling training, it became clear that K’ron and Nymanth were a true leadership pair. The pair also met a beautiful, delicate gold pair, Careny and Eirsythiath. Ala appeared at the weyr one day, expecting to still marry K’ron so her progeny would inheirit his father’s hold, but her grasping personality was an unpleasant contrast to the sweet Careny and K’ron sent her away. When Eirsythiath rose for the first time and for every time, it was Nymanth who caught her to the overwhelming joy of their riders. The happy family spent many turns together, growing by a child every two turns. Then Careny died in childbed, breaking K’ron’s heart. For the sake of their three children, K’ron tried to recover, but found it difficult to do so. When presented with the idea of transferring to Xian Weyr for a new start, K’ron decided that would be the best thing for him. He sent the children to his parents to be fostered and headed to Xian alone.

At the moment, he is somewhat mournful due to the fairly recent loss of his weyrmate. He can laugh in happier moments and loved to play a game called ‘Bomb the Weyr’ with the children of Benden.
