She has green eyes that dance merrily, and ever-smiling lips.
Personality description: Oakley is a bit of a tomboy, and has a very wide wild streak. She loves to laugh, and there is no limit to what she will do to achieve that end. Witty and sharp, she prefers to keep company with people who of a similar mind. There is nothing more boring to her than someone who has an overdeveloped sense of responsibility. Oakley is always game for a good joke, and will usually chime in with one of her own that will get twice the laugh the original one got.
Very creative, Oakley can sing, dance, play instruments, draw and tell stories. If there is any manner of entertainment to be had, Oakley has a talent in that area. She can irascible if irritated, and does not like to be bossed around. She has a stubbornness that causes her to question orders, which some find very irritable. The girl is very direct, and opinionated, and will make her point heard, even at the cost of offending a sensitive person. She is not afraid of criticism and critique, and therefore believes that others should have the same tough skin that she has cultivated over the Turns.

History: Oakley was born the second daughter to the Harper Faerris. Her mother was also a Harper called Winley, but died in childbirth with her. Therefore, she was left to her father’s care. The poor man had no idea how to raise two daughters, especially a daughter as vivacious as his second one, so she had free rein as a child, and still to this day, retains a large wild streak from being allowed to do anything she pleased as a child. The Harpers were a merry lot, and very willing to indulge the beautiful young girl, and were very pleased with the large amount of talent that she displayed. Her uncle, the Bluerider T’ris came to visit often, always with gifts for Oakley and her older sister. It was he that brought her a fire-lizard egg when she was ten Turns old, and she Impressed the Green Clover at that age. From that time on, Clover was her conspirator and arseistant, and could be found on her shoulder, like an emerald accessory that Oakley wore throughout life. When Oakley got older, T’ris’s Blue Sinth Searched her. Her father was sad to let her go, but a new life and the idea of becoming a dragonrider suited Oakley, and so he carried her to Benden Weyr along with one other Candidate he had Searched from Weaver Crafthold. There, Oakley Impressed her Lianath.

Ever a worrywart, Lianath is prone to flying into hysterics if she suspects something is wrong with her rider. When in a good mood, the Purple is quite amiable and playful, and loves a good time.
